With the impending danger of the thinning of the ozone layer, ultraviolet rays or (UV) rays from the sun are escaping towards the ground. This has a negative impact on the whole environment. Perhaps, the most interesting feature for a UV plexiglass is that it is more resistant to pressure. Although it may seem brittle, UV plexiglass is extremely strong.

While global warming and the thinning of ozone layer pose a great danger into our households, there is a new technique to prevent the ill effects in the form of UV plexiglass.
